- Cabbage Hill (Emigrant Hill) on I-84 east of Pendleton features a hazardous 6% double hairpin descent with mandatory brake check zones.
- Siskiyou Summit on I-5 at the California border (elevation 4,310 ft) mandates winter tire chains and speed limits down to 18-35 MPH.
- Oregon DMV requires an 80% passing score on the 50-question General Knowledge test.
